humangear, inc. Announces Recall of capCAP product sold from November 2016 through February 2017

Human Gear Cap Cap Recall From 2017

Hazard: If a bottle is filled with water at a rolling boil (~212F), and the updated version of the capCAP is placed on the bottle, upon shaking or inverting the bottle, the updated version of the capCAP may leak, dislodge or come off, posing a burn hazard.

Recalled Product: Updated version of capCAP product, an accessory water bottle cap, sold from November 2016 through February 2017, which was available in Green/Gray, Blue/Gray, Black/Gray and Black/Black for standard wide-mouth stainless steel bottles and in Black/Gray for glass mason jars. This Safety Recall Notice does not affect the original capCAP or any other humangear, inc. products.

Remedy: Consumers should stop using the updated version of the capCAP immediately and contact humangear, inc. for a refund.
